I’m posting this because I believe that if a society allows it to happen, they should be able to watch it.

Somehow I can't quite put into words how Saddam's death affects me.
There was a quote from someone in Pakistan on BBC news that I can relate to. It said Saddam's death saddened them not because he should've been kept alive but because it took place under US Occupation in Iraq. I'm conflicted by my intense dislike of American Politics and the horrendous acts committed by Saddam. I feel the time of his death is wrong.
Yesterday someone asked me how I felt about the hanging and I couldn't quite answer them. They gave me a look like something was wrong with me when I didn't immediately say, "it was a good thing."
